Intertech formed a non-profit (501) private foundation, the
Intertech Foundation, in late 2003 to provide financial support to families with
terminally ill children. Intertech
founder and CEO, Tom Salonek, his wife Linda Salonek, and Intertech Partner Ryan
McCabe comprise the Intertech Foundation board. Its charter calls for grants to
Minnesota families with terminally ill
children who need financial assistance granting last wishes for children, as
well as help with costs associated with respite care, hospital, and funeral
expenses. Since 2003, Intertech has
contributed over $130,000 to the Intertech Foundation.
In granting,
the Intertech Foundation works exclusively with the Ronald McDonald House
Charities, Upper Midwest located in
Minneapolis,
MN.
